This is a pretty steep chunky uphill climb with several switchbacks - trail conditions can change much due to rains as it washes out and exposes more rocks. Pretty popular mtb trail in the area so timing selection is important to get a clean run

Uphil trail just to the south of the parking bench - only one fork in the trail at the beginning - head left

Head towards the big wooden whale tail bike jump features visible from the parking lot.
