Bear Gulch

Bear Gulch is located in California and covers 2.47 miles.

The easier of two trails trail starting from the shuttle drop off. This trail dips and weaves around the upper ridge and then traverses across to the middle trail hub, following the terrain. The first part of the trail has some bermed switchbacks and turns. Lots of grade reversals you can pump, and some rollers you can double up with enough speed. There are a few rock features off the side as well. There is one steeper rocky section in the trees that may give beginner riders pause. Look at it and possibly walk it first. It will not be a problem for intermediate riders. The last half mile gradually climbs to the trail hub with a few steeper pitches gaining around 120ft total. Trail is rated green and suitable for beginners, but difficulty and fun increases with speed.
