Tapia Cnyn - Topdog - Dogtag

Tapia Cnyn - Topdog - Dogtag is located in Santa Clarita, California and covers 1.89 miles.

Stay left always and especially at the dogtag intersection sharp left. 1 or 2 steep chutes at the beginning and 1 more after the dogtag hard left make this a black diamond difficulty, you need to pretty much stop at the top of the chutes to decend safely, if coming in it with any speed you may be in for a taildrag ride. Otherwise its a blue mostly. Recommend a walk through or at least be ready for those chutes. 9 mile loop if parking at the animal shelter then head left towards paintball, heading up the fire road to the towers will get you to the topdog segment head, continuing on to karl trail, then down tapia cnyn rd back to shelter. Lots of single track on the way to the top on the right of the fireroad all track leads back to the fire road.

Ends before Tapia cnyn road and Karl trail intersection

For a 9 mile loop head left from animal shelter, take fireroad to top. Plenty of single track follows the road in the beginning, less so towards the top.
