Shred the Shires 2025 | UKCU | Chicksands & Whaddon

Chicksands (UK Central Underground) is about 30 minutes drive from Shred the Shires festival (2-5 May). There are car parks at Rowney Warren and Chicksands Bike Park (easiest access). The trails are shared access for walkers and cycles. The trails are easy, flow and fast with little technical challenge so super fun when dry!
Route to Chequers is just outside of the Shred the Shires event space, and easy to get up and running with Ride Hermes … probably not going to get quickest time when everyone is riding the group social though!
