Description
To be run on Tuesday, Thursday, & Saturday ONLY (YELLOW DIRECTION). Riders found posting times on off days will be disqualified from the season. Fun, flowy, berms, of camber slope traverses, and rollers. The trail will traverse the ski slope several times on the downhill. Rated black due to the long, uphill return.
Start and Finish
Start Point
From the Egypt Valley connector trail to the main trail loop at MARKER 22. Continue on behind MARKER 22 (follow the double red arrow marker on the tree behind Marker 22. Follow this trail to MARKER 24. While facing the map on Marker 24 you will see the trail you just came from and a second trail beyond that. Walk through the brush to this "back trail". The gate is 10 yards down trail towards the direction you came from.
End Point
The trail will leave the woods at the base of the ski hill, continue into the woods beyond the base. After another stretch in the woods, the trail will return into the open along the base of the ski hill. The end gate is about 20 yards beyond that. Continue on the trail up the slope to return to your car or loop the trail segment.
Directions from Parking
From Parking Lot ride south on Egypt Valley to Connector Trail. Entrance to Trail will be on east side of road just south of the home across from the parking lot. This road is busy and has blind hills flanking the trail entrance. Please be careful of cars. Take the connector trail from Egypt Valley to Marker 22. See start description for directions to start gate area.
