This route starts and ends in single-track in the Dimple Dell gully between 700 E and 1300 E. It has very little elevation gain, and is far less popular with bikers than other nearby riding areas. This route includes a stretch of the broad footpath which is mostly covered in woodchips, but it is possible to stay primarily on singletrack by branching off onto a number of other paths.
The singletrack surface is primarily sand and can be difficult to ride when dry.
