Despite the name this is the trail you go to chill. Go on it right after the Sheep's Trail for the ultimate chill ride. After the little part with the gravel road on the beginning there's the only difficult part of the trail, you have to pass the riverbed, which only has water when it rains a lot, so it's a downhill and uphill, new riders might need to carry their board here. But after that is just chill mode, there's a couple of bird observatories in the area so if you don't want to beat the record give them a visit.
It's called The Burning River because at the very end there's a little bridge to pass a vey small part of the river which has water all the time. Once I lent a board to a new rider whom I was teaching how to ride and while passing that he panicked and my board fell into the river. After more than 10 minutes we finaly managed to pull it out and as soon as we took it off the trail it burst into flames. The burning place left a mark on the road which it's still visibe.
