Description
Northshore is one of the toughest trails in DFW. A DORBA managed trail on US Army Corps of Engineer property, so you are under multiple layers of rules. This trail is a favorite from last year with plenty of rocky chunk, sandy berms, grueling climbs, and plenty of roots to dodge. Can you handle the gnar?
Start and Finish
Start Point
Start at the EL2 Trail sign intersecting Murrell Park rd. The right side is the correct direction.
End Point
ending at clearing before wet creek crossing. Cross over to the return trail to head back, then take a left on the pavement, follow the curve to the right, go around the pipe gate and go left on the road. One more right and you are back at the start. (fastest return route)
Directions from Parking
Near the park entry, there are two parallel roads with two benches and a water station. This is the starting point for both Northshore trails in this season.
